Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar

The Geylang Serai Bazaar, a much-awaited annual event, returns on March 8th, 2024, promising an array of delights for visitors. Despite its scaled-down size this year, the bazaar boasts around 500 stalls, with approximately 150 dedicated to showcasing a delightful assortment of festive foods, stylish attire, and essential Raya merchandise. From savoury treats to sweet indulgences, there’s a culinary delight to suit every palate, with prices starting as low as $3. Moreover, visitors can shop with confidence knowing that all food stalls are Halal certified. Whether you’re in search of traditional attire, trendy accessories, or simply want to soak in the vibrant atmosphere, the Geylang Serai Bazaar offers an unforgettable experience for all. Kampong Gelam Ramadan Bazaar 2024

The Kampong Gelam Ramadan Bazaar, a beloved fixture in Singapore’s cultural landscape, returns from March 2nd to April 5th, offering an extended run of 34 days from 2pm to 11pm daily. This year’s event marks its longest duration yet, promising an immersive experience for visitors. While smaller in scale compared to Geylang Serai, the bazaar will feature around 100 stalls, with 80 dedicated to delectable food and beverages, and the remaining offering an enticing array of retail goods, including accessories and clothing. Stretching along Kandahar Street, Muscat Street, and Baghdad Street, this year’s bazaar promises to be the largest in its history, captivating attendees with its vibrant atmosphere and diverse offerings. 

Other than the food, you can expect a few live cooking shows and performances by Singaporean and Malaysian artistes, such as Taufik Batisah, Tomok and Alif Satar!

Here comes the exciting part! To commemorate its bicentennial in 2024, the Sultan mosque will play a light projections of archival images highlighting key moments form its history every Friday to Sunday

On the day of March 23rd, Arab Street will be closed down to make way for the mass iftar, which will have a big estimated crowd of 1,500 individuals, including charity beneficiaries. People of the public will be able to purchase their tables at iftar, the proceeds will go to Sultan Mosque and its beneficiary groups

EcoHarmony Festival Bedok Ramadan Bazaar

Come and visit the first ever Ramadan Bazaar in Bedok which claims to be sustainably-LED. This Bazaar is held near Bedok Sports Hall. One of the main highlights of this event, the ecoHarmony Festival will use solar energy to further increase environmental sustainability. This Bazaar will have extensive Halal food options. Additionally, while you munch on the food you can enjoy movie screenings and live performances. More importantly, once you are done munching on the food, there’ll be recycling bins all around the bazaar for visitors to dispose of recyclable items, to further increase the conservation efforts. 

Another huge highlight, Shuk Sahar who is a Malaysian comedian and presenter will be sharing a special segment regarding his unique Nasi Kerabu. An iconic Malaysian dish with its iconic blue rice.

 Muslims who have the intention to break fast at the location can dine at designated areas and are able to use its prayer facilities during the fasting month.
